Proof Positive Candidate User Experience Insights

At Proof Positive, we are always striving to improve the experience of our users. That’s why we recently conducted a Candidate User Experience Questionnaire to gain valuable feedback and insights from our customers. The results are in, and we’re excited to share the key takeaways and the positive steps we’re taking to ensure even greater success for our users!

We are thrilled to report that 85% of respondents would recommend Proof Positive to others, citing its comprehensive features and strong assessor support as major benefits. Additionally, our customer satisfaction rate remains an impressive 98%, reinforcing our commitment to providing a reliable and effective platform.

However, we also recognise that some users have faced challenges, particularly in system navigation and initial onboarding, although this was mainly due to lack of basic IT skills. The survey also revealed that those who received structured training or induction sessions rated the platform much higher in terms of usability and overall satisfaction.

At Proof Positive, we believe in open and transparent communication. By sharing these results, we demonstrate our commitment to reflecting on best practices and using real user feedback to enhance the experience. Our approach ensures authenticity, reliability, and sustainability while keeping the platform intuitive and user-friendly for all.

One of the most valuable insights from the survey was the clear correlation between training and user success:

  • 90% of users who rated the platform highly (4-5 stars) had received training or an induction session.
  • Conversely, the few lower ratings came from users who had not received training from their centre or were unaware of our Help and Support resources.

This data reinforces the importance of key stakeholders attending our training sessions and ensuring candidates receive proper onboarding. When users are equipped with the right knowledge from the start, they navigate the system more confidently and efficiently.

Based on the feedback received, we’re introducing several key improvements to further support both customers and candidates:

1) Improved Onboarding Tools

  • Induction Checklist: We’re developing a structured checklist to help centres guide candidates seamlessly through their first steps on the platform, which will include a section on how candidates can access their own Help & Support section for specific video support.
  • Demo Portfolios: Centres will have access to demo portfolios for assessors and verifiers—free of charge—to use during training and induction sessions.

2) Enhanced Support & Resources

  • Help & Support Videos: We’re making our support videos more accessible by embedding them directly within the candidate dashboard.
  • Visibility Boost: We’re actively working on increasing awareness of these valuable resources to ensure all users know where to find help when needed.
  • New Help Centre: We are currently developing a Help Centre that will provide both text descriptions and video guides, offering users an additional comprehensive support method.

3) Addressing Technical Challenges

  • Simplified Navigation: We’re taking steps to refine the platform’s navigation, making it more intuitive, especially for new and returning users.
  • Email Notifications: Reminders will be implemented to ensure users understand that email notification links expire and should not be solely relied upon for accessing the system. We recommend bookmarking the platform’s web address for quick and easy access.

To help candidates and centres maximise their Proof Positive experience, we encourage you to take the following steps:

  • Assess IT Skill Levels: Identify users who may require additional digital literacy support.
  • Prioritise Onboarding: Ensure candidates receive structured induction training on system functionality, using readily available support videos and dedicated support from our team.
  • Encourage Self-Learning: Direct users to our Help & Support videos to reinforce their learning.
  • Promote Best Practices: Advise candidates to bookmark the system’s login page for easy access.
