NHS Ayrshire & Arran partner with Proof Positive in a bid to reduce time and costs associated with delivering their qualification programmes

NHS Ayrshire & Aran are one of 14 regional NHS Boards responsible for the protection and the improvement of their population’s health and for the delivery of frontline healthcare services.

More than 9,000 staff work in their hospitals – two University Hospitals at Ayr and Crosshouse near Kilmarnock, Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine and Biggart Hospital in Prestwick. NHS Ayrshire & Arran also have community hospitals in Arran (War Memorial Hospital), Cumbrae (Lady Margaret), Cumnock (East Ayrshire Community Hospital), Girvan (Girvan Community Hospital) and Kirklandside.

The Challenge

Up until last month, all programme candidates were using paper based portfolios which is extremely time consuming from an administrative viewpoint and also costly in terms of paper and delivery. With candidates being spread throughout North Ayrshire (including Arran) arranging times to meet was becoming a challenge in itself, so they decided to go to market and look for a more effective and accessible way to deliver their programme.

The Solution
